Old friends, grilled halloumi and padron peppers

This blog is about all the little things I’m grateful for every single day.

1. Old friends. The type of friends that even if you haven’t spoken or seen each other in years it always feel like not even a week has gone by.

2. Work that doesn’t feel like work. Like editing a good novel.

3. The end of 2018. It has been a weird painful eventful year and yes I’m glad it’s over and I have good hopes for 2019. One of the things I wish for is not to feel as much as a failure as I do now.

4. Grilled halloumi and padron peppers. Perfect dinner watching the darts.

5. The husband making an effort to learn Italian. God knows why now but who am I to complain?
